Our story
My name is Scott Deering. I have lived with anxiety my entire life — not the kind that comes and goes, but the kind woven into the fabric of every morning and every sleepless night. I have walked alongside others carrying the same weight. And I have learned that the people who truly understand suffering are the ones most equipped to ease it in someone else.
That understanding — that deep, bone-level empathy — is what BoldSoul.love is built on. Not a clinical framework. Not a business model. The simple, radical belief that when someone who has been through the darkness reaches back to help someone still in it, something profound happens. That is the frequency we are tuned to.
My youngest sister — I called her Bethie — embodied this more than anyone I have ever known. We had both been through things that would have broken people who weren't determined to be otherwise. So we invented a word for what we were trying to be. BoldSoul.love. It meant the kind of person who keeps going anyway. Who finds beauty and courage not in the absence of suffering, but in spite of it.
At Bethie's bedside, in her final hours, she made me promise that BoldSoul.love would find its purpose in the world. I have spent years turning that promise over in my hands, trying to understand what it was asking of me. Now I know. It was asking me to build a place — a sound, a community, a frequency — where no one has to face their anxiety alone. Where empathy is not just a value on a wall. It is the foundation everything else is built on.
BoldSoul.love is not a wellness app. It is not a meditation platform. It is not going to tell you to breathe or live your best life or find your calm.
It is a place built by someone who knows what anxiety actually costs — built for people who know it too. The sound library is grounded in real neuroscience. The community is built on real shared experience. And the whole thing is held together by a promise made to a woman named Bethie, who believed that the people who have been through the most have the most to offer each other.
If you found your way here, you are already a BoldSoul. You may not feel like one right now. That is okay. Bethie and I didn't always feel like it either. But we kept going. And so did you — all the way to this page, this sound, this community.
You are not alone in this frequency.
What BoldSoul.love believes
Empathy is our foundation
We built this because we have lived it. Every decision — every sound, every word, every feature — is made by people who understand anxiety from the inside.
Sound is real medicine
400+ clinical studies confirm it. Rhythm, frequency, and immersion regulate the nervous system. This is neuroscience, not wishful thinking.
Community is part of the cure
Knowing other people truly understand reduces the cortisol spike that makes anxiety spiral. You are not the only one.
Pharmaceuticals aren't the only path
We respect every person's choice. We built BoldSoul.love for those looking for something different — something that works without a prescription.
